Character
Description: Zoe looks to be around 24-26 years of age. She has silver
hair that when the light hits it has gold highlights. She has a
warrior’s body style and grace. She moves quickly and silently and is
often found barefoot. She has pale eyes that turn black when she uses one
of the Velasquex abilities.
Mental
Description: She has the mind of one who has had to take care of 5
brothers in the past. One who was in charge at all times. She is quick to
learn something new and is always looking at it from a point of view to
see what it will do for her and her new family. She does not trust quickly
and the other person has to earn that trust. She is outspoken and very
direct. If she does not like you, you will know it. If she considers you a
friend or family member, she will go out of her way to make you feel
welcome and part of the family. She is loyal to those she cares about to a
point where it can be a problem.
Character
History: Zoe was the youngest of 6 children. She had 5 older brothers
while growing up and it was quickly realized that she was smarter than
most of them. They lived in the mountains of her homeland and had grown up
hearing the folklore about the ones that lived during the night, but
dismissing them as stories parents told their parents to make them behave,
her and her brothers simply ignored them. One night after they had all
grown and Zoe still remained at home, being something of an oddity at the
time, having not married yet, her and her
family was attacked when the Duke came down from the hillside and turned
her entire family. They became Shadow walkers and with his training they
learned how to control the shadows as best he could teach. Unfortunately,
the Duke was weak and turning the family about killed him and he was
unable to train them very well. He was soon killed by Zoe in anger of his
weakness and his selfish reasons for doing what he did to her family. She
and her brother’s spoke and they had heard tales of the island and the
family Velasquex that were masters of the Shadows. It was decided that Zoe
would head out in search of the island to see if the family would train
her, so she could take home the lessons home to her brothers.
She
reached the island and finally found Chrixtion, whom she dubbed Shadow
Man, when she spoke with him. He listened to her story and took her into
his home. While she was there she received notification that her brothers
had all been killed by a rival vampiric family in the hills back home. She
became saddened and angered by this and once she realized she was alone,
she went to Chrixtion and told him of the update. He offered to teach her
the control of the shadows, if she were to become part of his family only.
She agreed and thus started this saga…
