Character Description:
When she arrived on the island Solstice was four years old, she
crash landed in the trees surrounding the Dojo .
Solstice is over 900 years old now. She has ankle length golden hair and gold
eyes that are quite obviously not human.
She has a tattoo of draconic runes around her left ankle over the
scars that remain from her years in captivity. She is 5’4” in height
while in human form and on the petite but still curvy side. When in dragon
form she is currently over 300 feet long and covered in scarlet red scales
from head to tail. Tri horns protrude from the top of her head just above
the eye ridges that shield her sensitive eyes. She has large wings that
rise from both sides of her back that can be folded back against the ridge
of her spine when needed. Her razor sharp claws and teeth make excellent
weapons
Mental Description: As a child Solstice was wary of humans stemming from her early experiences with the Hunters and their Queen. She was very bright but her spoken English was halting and sometimes broken being as it was a third language for her. Since coming to the island she has grown into a confident dragoness. Solstice is stubborn and headstrong but not foolish. Since having her children she is much more cautious and slower to anger.

History:
Solstice was
born in captivity at just past midnight on the winter solstice. Her
parents Gaea (her mother a gold dragon)
and Fafnir (her father ,a red dragon ) were two of 25 dragons betrayed and
imprisoned by human hunters who were aided by an evil sorceress . From the time she was
born Solstice was manacled by a heavy band around her left ankle that kept
her chained to the ground.. As she grew older and stronger ropes were used
to control her movements leaving healed over scars around her neck.. The
adult dragons revolted in an attempt to fight their way to freedom. All
were killed or injured except Solstice because her mother found a place to
hide her. When Solstice
emerged from her hiding place a day later it was to find her mothers dying
body blocking the opening to the cave solstice has been hidden in her last
words to Solstice were to find the island they had been told of by one of
the elders before his death. Her journey lasted over a year when she
finally crash-landed on the island. She was taken in by Lord Black Dragon
more officially known as King Khaeos Drao-Kin who was unable to handle
full time care of a young girl at that time in his
life. She was eventually taken in by the Breeds when
she was 7 and was raised by them until the age of 10.They sent her to
school on the mainland. She returned to the island when she completed
school at age 15.She returned to living with Lord Black Dragon at that
time being as she was allowed to chose her guardian. From then until
adulthood she was raised in Divinius Draconus Palace. Pathe became her
adopted Mother when she married Khaeos bearing him a son, Meridian Thane
Drao-Kin. Once she was full grown she took her adopted Fathers surname and
her place as Princess in his kingdom Li’Telor which translates to
Heavenly Kingdom in draconic. The native language is an ancient form of
draconic to keep them connected to their heritage. At the time she was
presented with her crown she was soul bonded through the nexus to her
Father infinitely lengthening her lifespan. On her ankle the tattoo reads
“vrara ularnne nandanne vrara Drao-Kin”
“(forever to fly, to rule, forever Dragon King)
Solstice was married to Prince Tiger Stormdragon .The marriage lasted for eleven years and produced three children. The marriage ended in divorce due to his infidelity. Solstice now resides with her children in Soleil D'Oro Estate on the island.
Solstice
is expecting the couple’s first child.
Items: She often wears a bracelet given to her by Lord Black Dragon when she was a child that allows him to know if she is in trouble. An orb given to her by Lamasu, although she does not recall exactly what it does after all this time.
Strengths: She is able to breathe fire while in dragon form and due to her soul bond with her Father Lord Black Dragon she is able to manipulate energy originating from the Nexus.
Weakness: Overestimating her own strength when angry. Refusing to back down and running head first into things without thinking first.
