Gender: Female
Type: Vampire
Description:
Lalita has full black hair that reaches down to her lower back and
beautiful deep blue eyes. Her skin is porcelain perfect, always extremely
pale and practically white… and her flesh seems to be without even the
slightest flaw.
She has an angelic face, delicate curves, and is a petite woman,
standing only 5’0ft… and is usually mistaken for a teenager. She
normally dresses in Goth attire, especially since it has come back into
fashion. She personally loves the style and the dark colors against her
skin. She is also usually always seen wearing a corset as well.
She can seem very lonely at times and a bit distant, but she is
kind and compassionate at heart. She is very polite, normally calm,
independent and always tries to think over a situation before she acts or
makes a decision. And though she enjoys being social with others, she
often tends to be a loner.
She is usually submissive towards others, especially men because
that is how it was in the time period she was raised. But just because she
is submissive, she is not a slave and she will stand up for what she
thinks is right if need be.
She is a loner. Therefore she does not have a family group,
support, or many allies. She can come off as distant and usually not make
the first move towards anyone, which results in small amounts of friends.
She has a fear of commitment, in relationships, families, and
elsewhere. The only thing she had ever committed to is her ‘pride and
joy,’ her violin.
Lalita was the only daughter in her wealthy family when she was a
mortal. During those times, being a girl meant she was to be married off
to a suitor. She had begged her father and the priests not to force her
into marriage, claiming she had found someone she loved. However, the boy
she had fallen in love with was only a handsome servant boy who worked in
the stables… and the moment she let slip that it was he whom she loved,
her father ordered him killed in fear for his daughters virginity.
His death had broken her heart… not just because he had died, but
also because she never told him how she felt. In fact, the poor boy did
not even know what he did wrong… screaming out ‘what did I do?!’
before he was killed.
She was heartbroken and in panic… determined not to obey her
fathers wishes after his horrible act, but she did not see a way out. And
when all seemed lost for her, one man heard her pleas and took pity on her
(or so she believes). He told her he would help, as long as she was
willing to die for freedom. She had thought he meant suicide, and in her
own grief she agreed and they arranged a meeting time.
When she met him again, she was ready to die… having written a
note and dressed in her finest attire. When he explained to her just how
she would die and what she would then become, she still did not truly
understand… thinking him more of a priest lecturing her about hell and
its punishments. She assured him she did not care whether she lived
forever as a demon or died that night, as long as she was unbound from her
family chains and did not have to marry her suitors (most of which were
three times her age). And so he did what she asked…
Lalita only knew her Sire by the name he gave her, Samuel. When she
was embraced, she was given only some instructions… Do not go into the
sunlight, remember to feed every night, and never let anyone know of her
‘condition.’
He arranged for her to be moved away to live a solitary life, at
least for a few years, in a small manor with some servants… all which he
paid for in advance. He
stayed with her the first few nights, but his visits become less frequent
during the first year and then finally stopped.
At first, it was very hard adjusting to her new life, having been
religious as a mortal, but she soon adapted and found peace in it. During
her time in the manor she was able to feed safely and perfect the arts of
the time… including the violin, which had become her only love and
comfort.
Though the manor had its charm, she was forced to leave when the
servants started becoming suspicious of the young woman who never aged.
After leaving, she traveled for a some time meeting different people and
some vampires on the way… she even picked up some minor spells on her
travels and combined them with her own skills.
She never stayed in one place too long. She looked like a teenager
for the most part, after all, and mortals always began to notice how young
she ‘stayed.’ Therefore, she would move every ten years in mortal
society. This did not bother her, however, because she never really had
much luggage to begin with.
She has had many jobs in the mortal world, experiences which she
will share and others she will not. She never took a mate or a love…
having found men to be very uncaring in nature for the most part. If she
does choose to spend a night with a man, she is usually gone right
afterwards, which is normally not very protested… after all, sometimes
the way she dresses and her petite form can make her look like a minor.
Healing Touch - Focusing energy into the fingers and placing them
over wounds increases the speed the flesh mends. Hands must remain over
the wound, pushing healing energy into it. Therefore, the larger the wound
or burn, the weaker the caster will get. Usually only used on minor
wounds.
Violin Magic:
Unique abilities and spells Lalita had personally created using her minor
magic knowledge. Can only be used when playing a violin (does not have to
be a specific one).
1. Crow (her favorite
and most used), 2. Wolf, 3. Light Mist, 4. She also has the ability to
extend her nails and let them turn into talon-like claws.
