Character Description:   Glancing at Trine few would suspect what lays beneath his calm human form. At first look he appears to be a regular human. 6'5, shorter black hair and a fair complexion, usually dressed in a pair of black slacks, long sleeve black shirt and covered by a long white trench coat and dark shades. They say that the eyes are the gateway to the soul, well in Trine situation, this is very true. For under those darkened shades lay his two red eyes, coloured as if someone used the flames from hell itself. 
However under that shell of humanity lays his true self. When he has changed into his hellspawn form, Trine stands over 10 foot tall, with skin as black as coal and long hair as white as snow, with two long black leathery wings, claws and fangs that rival most creatures and two stumps on his head that look like horns used to be there. Few have ever seen this form, for he seals the powers from this form away with a tattoo on his chest, allowing him to choose when he does or does not change.
Trine really does not have one particular thing he loves to do, save for being with his love Lyvinniah. Most of his time is spent reading, traveling, and getting to know people. The walls of his chamber at the fortress of light are packed with ancient texts and old books, a few that were even written by himself ages ago. 

Mental Description: He is always happy to meet new, seldomly saying a cross word to anyone. He may seem calm but under the surface he is always thinking and learning. Trine is very hard to get upset, that is something his ages upon earth have taught him. However if anyone were to anger him, his abundant kindness and compassion switches off and he returns to how he used to be, cruel, wicked, and extremely violent. He honors love and strangley family above all else, it is strange because of his less than peachy relationship with his brother, Dante, a fellow hellspawn, who inspired him to leave the pit in the first place. He can truly be your best friend, or your worse nightmare.

Character History:   Long ago, God cast Satan into hell to rule over the damned for all eternity. This much is known. But the history of Trine starts very soon after that. God did choose seven heavenly virtues to guide mankind, and lead them to salvation. But at the same time the Devil did create seven deadly sins to taint and defile the souls of man, they were; Pride, Wrath, Envy, Greed, Sloth, Gluttony, and Lust. To each of these 7 deadly sins, a priest was created to be an embodiment of their own respective sin. Trine was created to be the high priest of Lust in Hell's Church. There he tormented and demented the love and lives of scores of humans for eons, taking something so beautiful as love, and degrading it into filthy lust. Many he drove mad with it, destroying the lives of that person and anyone they came in contact with. He drove women into breaking up families, fathers into cheating. However there was just one slight problem with the Devil's creation... He was bestowed with individual thought and almost could not be controlled by the Devil. 
Years passed, mankind grew and Trine began to develop a conscience... In the centuries leading up to his exile, he had dreamed of a simpler life, he had grown tired of causing people whom he never had met so much pain. In the end it took the actions of his brother Dante, who was higer up on the totem than even Trine was, to make him decide on leaving. Years of planning followed as Trine began to slowly cut the bonds to Hell, building up his own powers so he would never need to rely on Hell's power anymore and finally, one day he broke free and exploded up from the pit to begin his new life on earth. He was greeted by Dante, who taught him many of the ways of this world. 
Trine wandered throughout the earth for the next several centuries, influencing mankind peacefully, hoping that somehow, someway he could atone for his past transgressions. One day came where he learned of a plot to open up hell's gate and flood the earth. He moved instantly to the island where he met Lyvinniah and told her of this plot. Soon thereafter however, he was captured and drug down into Hell, where he was reprogrammed to return to the island and start to assassinate the heads of each of the elder races. Luckily thanks to the friends he had met, the plot was foiled... But the attacks were just beginning. 
Soon the world was plunged into a state of darkness, as hellspawns would portal to the earth and attack all who they came in contact with. The war lasted for a long time, during which Trine moved behind the scenes, gathering information about the Hellspawn and relayed that information to Lyvinniah. He had interfered so much that he was recaptured and cursed, causing him to lose the immortality that had sustained his long life. But he never regretted anything. He did it out of love, love for Lyvinniah. only when he was on the verge of death did he confess his love for her, and when she returned it he felt that urge to live again. With great aid from Pathe's dark dragon scales, he performed a ritual that slowed down the curse immensely, not granting him immortality, but granting him a very very long life. So now, he smiles and lives on. Knowing exactly the day he will die, and living life to the fullest, enjoying all of it until that day.

Weapons, Abilities, and Pets:
The Black Night: Trine's sword forged in Hell's Fire itself, although he seldom uses it in these peaceful days. When used, however, it channels a fire as intense as the inner rings of Hell.

Abilities:
Shadow Puppetry: By drawing together the darkness around him, Trine can mold the shadows into copies of people that he controls directly with his mind.
Shadow Walk: When need be, Trine can move his body into the shadows and travel at the speed of darkness.

Pets:
Triss: Triss is a funny little demon that Trine brought with him during his exodus from Hell. Unlike most demons, Triss isn't violent or malevolent. Instead this thing that looks like a 7 inch tall mix between a spider monkey and a bat mainly chatters around and goofs off. However Triss' redeeming quality is it's ability to morph into different objects.
