Character Description: Butterfly is a diligent worker, She has many times in the past taken jobs for money to make people understand other peoples thinking. She however does take quite a bit of enjoyment when she is the midst of her acts. She tends to fall into a white light, the white noise of screams and whispers fall silent the more she cuts away the person until she gets what she had been paid for. Handing over heads, fingers, toes and on the rare occasion genitals. Butterfly has since found a belief that actually works for her, and can be heard saying it every now and then to the people she falls into conversation with. "Gotta keep on, keeping on " However, despite the brutish crass demeanor she portrays in the public eye. Conversations with her on a person to person scale, one does always find that the Butterfly they see is not really they Butterfly she is. She uses her wit and strict upbringing to her advantage, giving people what they want to see and keeping the one part of her thats never seen quite hidden.
Mental Description: True to what she is, Butterfly knows when someone is lying to her or to anyone else. She studies people quite closely before she ever makes an advancement on them. Conversation yes, Lovers.. very rarely, She has long since forgone and concluded that men in general are violent moronic creatures who spend more time thinking with the bulbuous head and usual thick shaft to make their every movement in daily life. Nothing now really surprises her.
Character
History:
Butterfly was born in Ba'alinagrae Ireland, she is the eldest of three. Two brothers Emery and Benjamen became lost to her throughout the years. She left Ireland when she was 17 to the America's where of course bitter disappointment always came to the starry eyed naive ones. All was not lost though, she had found a man who was by all means a very promiscuous being and soon took up with him. Becoming a room mate with him, she had spent many nights and listened to the many female visitors come and go. They soon formed a very odd friendship. It was not for her looking the other way when things as such happened. Butterfly and he usually spoke about his bedly endeavors and got a laugh out of his assessments of the female form. However, their time would come to a very brief halt. He had found the one woman, his true love or so he exclaimed to her. So, moving out that very night, she wished him well and then soon found his soon to be wife with two other men, doing her same routine. She was a hustler. Excited by this turn of events, Butterfly soon took to stalking this woman and eventually forced her to teach Butterfly the tricks of the trade.
After two years in prison, having one of her trade skills go very wrong one night. Butterfly sat in front of the parole board explaining why she should be allowed back into society. She had been released, her pitiful story had worked. Being behind bars with many other women who had shown Butterfly that you didn't always need a blade to killsomeone, poisons worked just as well. Butterfly soon found herself drifting away from the polished society and back into the seedy dives where she had only just started to hone her skills.
Four years later, now 23 years old Butterfly had made some money but not enough to keep her happy. Going to actually work now. She found herself employed in the one tavern that was notoriously rumored that vampire's visited all too frequently. Non believer Butterfly, went into work every night and while she got older over the years. They never did, rumors this time had proven to be true. How interesting! Finding one who started to teach her a great many things, became her tutor and lover for a short time. Being turned however, was.. quite.. painful for her. It came unwantinglyItems: Two butterfly knives that she carries on her at all times. A small axe that she usually keeps at her back. or if not being carried that night, it can be found in her home sitting on a table
Spells and abilities:
Whispered Wants: Using the intended victims needs and desires against them, Butterfly not only will observe but will take the time to start tasting the person if permission allows. The one taste of them Butterfly will use their wants as her gain in order to get what she wants out of them (no roll)
Fevered Whispers- Given only to one person. The imbiber uses the chosen one as a beacon. The ritual consisting of Butterfly, taking blood from the person and in turn gives a small amount of her own to lock the pair for a small amount of time. Using the discarded vitae to locate the person and be drawn to them. The ritual itself takes one complete night to ensure that Butterfly does not end up terminating the person. The effects from the ritual last for a short time, or until the person discovers what has come. Only then, Butterfly will withdraw from the person until all effects are gone. The effects last three full nights. (need explanation to what it does exactly)
Whispered Illusions:
Drawing the beauty from within. Butterfly will bring the illusion of
flawless skin over her. Hiding the scarred face, and the tattoo's that
would often make her stand out in a crowd. However it can be broken if
Butterfly is touched, drawing forth the true features of her face and
form.
