Type of Character: Lamasu / Leader of Cat Shifters


Character Description:
Half Lion, half man, when in Natural state other wise can look like a tall man, Hair is long lion colored along with all else. He can appear as full Lion, He can hold any portion of the three states. Winged, Lion or Man, possibly all of the above.

Mental Description:
He was an assassin, tired of killing for pay. Retired to the Isle with his pack of Cat-Shifters. As an assassin he with a problem of honor first. He could not kill someone he finds honorable. If he finds you are without honor he is almost unstoppable.

                                                   Heart of the Beast

 Level one: *Purr

Just as any Vampire can lick a wound he has made and cure it, so can those with the purr lick to someone else's cut or scar made by any other, and heal it. (auto). Note: the wound must be able to be licked to heal it.

  Level 2 Languid 

A Lamasu using Languid  may lay her/his hands on someone to stop the him from feeling any pain. This also Paralyzes the target( Out roll target).

Level 3 Pack  

This power allows a Lamasu to protect himself and those under his care. (locked for more def)

Level 4 Sound Mind

By the time a character has learned to treat the sick of mind, an eye in his hand, becomes fully developed.  Using the third eye on an unmoving target allows the Lamasu to sense the Targets Derangements and to cure him. (Out roll target by 5 if is a spell must out roll original caster.)


Level 5 Call to Beast

This power allow a Lamasu to pull someone's soul from its body and place their the soul with in himself to work healing on it. Meanwhile the targets body becomes a mindless zombie. (roll higher then target if agrees, if does not must out roll by 10 and must weaken the target by at least 50 percent of hit points, Can not attack the zombie once soul is removed.)


Level 6 True Heal 

By touching a target's bare skin a character using this spell can heal them of all lost health points. (must roll a twenty and will take 1/2 of hit points on to himself.)


Level 7 Aversion

The power renders the Lamasu spirit unsightly, causing people to avoid contact with him. This repulsion does not attract attention to the character, but it simply makes people unconsciously avoid them.(out roll those in contact)

 Level 8 Dead Blood

This power enables the user to render a portion of the targets Blood inert (out roll target by 5 for severe damage)

Level 9 Puppet Master 

This power gives the character the complete control of the targets body and spirit. (out roll target by 20) 

Level 10 Resurrection 

This power allow the character to summon the soul of a recently dead back to his body. note this power does not work on Vampires and the body must be in place. (must roll a perfect 30)
 


                                                         Mind Toys

Level One - True Sight
A Lamasu with this power is in tune with the light. The Lamasu can see shadow regions (areas which are part of this world and others). They can also see through  glamour and see invisible . The Lamasu can make out the faint outlines of spirits that are not on the physical plane, though this requires intense concentration. System: This power usually requires no special roll unless the character is trying to see a particular spirit, in which case the must roll a 5 or higher 

Level Two - Dark Tricks
The Lamasu can cause minor magical pranks. The Lamasu can create numerous spontaneous effects, and while none of them should be overtly harmful, they most certainly should be annoying to the victim. It is up to the players  to come up with the pranks' effects.   

Level Three Gobline     
The Lamasu has an innate understanding of earth and stone. The Lamasu can instantly identify metals, rock formations and stones. Underground, the Lamasu has an intuitive direction sense. Through long and strenuous effort, the Lamasu can also alter earth and stone. The Lamasu can use this power for many purposes, such as shaping tunnels, building supports for underground havens, and smoothing out surfaces into flat floors and walls. System: The knowledge and direction sense associated with this power do not require a roll, but shaping rock means the Lamasu must summon goblins to aid him. The goblins will be inclined to help him, but not obligated. The caster must roll at least a 14 for the Goblin to aid

 Level Four -  Warts
The Lamasu can protect designated areas with Warts, causing anyone who enters the area to become extremely disoriented. Lamasu will occasionally put these warts on people who have offended them, causing the victim to be disoriented until the warts fade.  
 Out rolling target lasts One Hour  One Out rolling target by 5 lasts 1 Night , Out rolling target by 10 lasts two days Out rolling target by 15 lasts three days, out rolling target by 20 lasts one week.

Level Five - Riddle Me this?

As soon as someone hears the Riddle , she can do nothing but try to solve it. The Riddle is so impenetrable that it can actually damage the fragile brains of those who think about it. Some mentally ill  and other twisted degenerates, however, seem to have an easier time figuring it out. After a successful out rolling target . The victim can do nothing but sit and ponder the riddle until they accumulates five min per out rolled out roll by 1= 2 min out rolled by 2 = 4 min etc. They can attempt to solve the puzzel by rolling over 10 with only two dice.  Which ever comes first.  

Level Six - Stone Cutter

The Lamasu can travel into the earth by creating a small tunnel. The tunnels can be used by others, but they will not be very safe and they collapse easily. The Lamasu is able to travel underground with almost no chance of being captured. Must roll at least a 10 and 3 per person joining them. 

Level Seven - Stone Sword

The Lamasu cause huge, strong spikes to shoot out of walls, ceilings and floors. These will be made of whatever material they shoot out of and can be especially dangerous to Vampires in wooden houses. Must roll at least a 16 and must continue to roll a 16 to keep it up for more then two turns.

Level Eight Lions Touch - 

The Lamasu can turn victims to solid stone simply by touching them. The effects are one week, and the only way to reverse the effect is through powerful spells or by another touch of the Lamasu. You must roll at least a 24 in same room as target, if roll a perfect 30 effect is permanent unless reversed by a Lamasu or stone crafter.
