Jasislya is 5’10” with long wavy pure black hair and cat like
green eyes. She is very curvy and favors denim and leather clothing. She
can usually be seen wearing her Fires jacket and boots. Her voice still
bears the stamp of her Irish heritage.

Description:
Jasislya knows the value of when to listen and be diplomatic and when to stop listening and kick butt. She is quick witted and given to sarcasm at times. She does not trust easily and is an avid student of human nature. She is a shrewd businesswoman and along with Jacinda has built Fires Inc into a multi million-dollar company. As the head of the Fires family she has a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to her family.
Character
History:
Jasislya was born in Ireland in 1593 while Queen
Elizabeth of England was in power. For reasons of her own Queen Elizabeth
viewed Ireland as a threat to the power of the Crown and set about in a
systematic starvation of Irelands people.
The Gaelic chieftains had no intention of submitting to Elizabeth without
a full-scale war. Jasislya’s Father Neilus
stood with Shane the Proud, an Ulster O'Neill when he challenged Queen
Elizabeth directly in 1562 and again in 1595 when Jasislya was only 2
years old. The war raged for 6 long years, so most of Jasislya’s
childhood was spent hidden away inside the family estate training under
the constant possibility of combat alongside her older brothers; Fergus
, Jarlath and Ciarán.
Following the signing of the Treaty of Mellifont on March 1603 the
chieftains were given the option of living on their ancestral lands as
English-style nobles, but not as kings within the old Gaelic social
system. On September 14, 1607 dissatisfied with their new roles, and still
fearing retaliation, O'Neill and virtually the entire remaining Gaelic
leadership (99 leaders in all), secretly boarded a ship at night at Loch
Swilley and sailed for the Continent, never to return. Jasislya’s family
was among those who departed their homeland. It was the last time Jasislya
would see the green hills of Ireland for over 300 years.
Items:
Jasislya wears her Fires boots which have heel and toe blades that snap into place when needed. She wears her Fires ring which houses her command over the flames. She also carries assorted weapons when needed from a 9mm to a broadsword.
