Character Description:

Ellysa stands at 5’9, weighing 135lbs. She has long fiery red hair, and violet colored eyes. She usually dresses in a casual style. Blue jeans, cut off faded jean shorts, halter tops, half tops, tanks, etc. She favors light shades of purples, to match her eyes.

Mental Description:

Ellysa has had a hard life so far. She has found that she can’t trust others very easily, especially men. Yet she holds the thought that one day, she will find the one she can trust, and that she will know it from the moment she meets him.

She is a mortal, that happened upon the island quite by accident. She had been stowed away on a ship, hiding from an ex boyfriend who was not too happy that she left him, and was very good at showing his anger, physically. She fell asleep, and when she awoke, she found herself washed up on the beach, on this strange island. Before this time, she never thought in a million years that Vampires, Werewolves, and other such creatures actually existed. They were fantasy, made up in stories and movies. But now, here she is on an island filled with creatures and people she would never have thought possible. And she is not happy about it. She wants off this island. She is terrified, but has also learned that she can’t get off, every time she tries, it never succeeds.

 Character History:

Ellysa was born 21 years ago in New York City. She only had a mother, her father left before she was even born, and she has no idea who he is. Her mother didn’t have much in the way of money, so Ellya was left alone a lot as a child while her mother worked 2 or 3 jobs, just to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.

When Ellysa was 16, she dropped out of school and went to work as well, to help her mother out. At 18 years of age, her mother was killed. She was working one night in a video store, and two men came in wearing masks, demanding all the money from the till. Her mother gave the money over, not wanting to be shot over a few hundred dollars, but as the robbers were leaving, one of them turned, and took a couple shots. The bullets hit her mother, and one of the customers. Her mother died before she even reached the hospital.

After her mother’s death, it was now Ellysa’s turn to work 2 or 3 jobs just to keep herself in a crappy little apartment. Thanks to this lifestyle, when Ellysa met a man who appeared to care for her, she eagerly welcomed him into her life. But, he was nothing but a leech, wanting her to work hard, and support him. When she did anything he did not like, he would resort to beatings and harsh words to try and keep her in line. She had enough of that very quickly, and one night, disappeared. This man, Joshua, would not relent though. He kept chasing her, tracking her down.

That is when she decided she needed to sneak out of New York altogether. Get away from him and go where he will never find her. She snuck onto a boat that, hid, and fell asleep, waiting for it to leave dock and take her away. Little did she know that her wish would come true, and not be anything like what she wanted. Oh, she got away from Josh. Went somewhere he would never find her. But what she found seems even worse then what she fled from. And this place, this island. There seems to be no escape from.

Items:

Ellysa carries a gun on her at all times. She started carrying one just after her mother was shot, and she never goes anywhere without it now.
