Description: BloodOrchid
stands 5'7ft in
height, with rounded curves and blood red hair that falls in waves to her
waist. Her skin has always been pale and flawless, but since she was
embraced it is almost snow white. She has dark blue eyes that flash or
change to silver when she is highly emotional are catlike in shape, and
can easily grab someone's attention and hold them to
the spot. She has high cheekbones and full lips that nearly always look
like they are in a playful pout. Dimples grace her pale cheeks when she
chooses to smile. Strikingly beautiful, she has often used this as a
weapon. A tattoo of a snake graces her lower stomach which she received
when she was a child. Her voice is deep and husky, with no particular
accent.
Mental
Description:
Often confused since finding herself on this island. Having lost many
years
her personality has changed dramatically. She was once all about her, but
now finds herself feeling loyalties to that she would have once delighted
in
slaughtering. Has a habit of being edgy around people and sometimes quiet,
as she prefers to now watch others. She has a craving for knowledge and
often needs to know what is happening and why. She has a sharp temper on
her
that many others just don't know the full extent of.
Character History:
A princess and priestess of the 18th Dynasty, she was the third
"daughter" of Pharaoh Akhenaten, (also known as the 'heretic
king'), by his third wife. Her mother not being a native Egyptian herself
is the reason for Bloodorchid's looks, having inherited her mother's rare
blue eyes, crimson red hair and pale skin. An evil person, she craved
power and in doing so killed off many of her own family members in order
to gain it. Manipulated
many emotionally and physically also, she would always be looking for a
way to strengthen her own ambitions. She was caught in the attempted
assassination of one of her sisters and the council had ordered her
execution. She does not know how it happened but somehow managed to escape
and in doing so she found herself embraced at the age of 25. For centuries
she traveled the world, constantly seeking knowledge and abilities. She
spent many years during the Dark Ages in Europe, before returning to the
the earlier 19th century, when war made it uncomfortable to remain. Going
underground, she slept for nearly 100 years and upon awakening craved
knowledge and understanding of the New World and all the opportunities it
presented her. Traveling by sea she left Europe and headed for somewhere
new when the ship she was traveling on met with disaster, sinking to the
bottom of the sea. The next thing she realizes is she is on this island,
with very little memory of who she was and where she came from. With the
help of others here on the island she has regained most of her memory but
there are often times were she finds herself at a loss.
Weapons:
She has three silver daggers at her waist attached by a silver chain belt.
They have engravings of Isis, the mother goddess, Sekhmet, the
bloodthirsty lion-headed goddess of war and Renenutet, the cobra goddess.
Abilities:
Form shifting:
1. Bastet's Ability: With little effort she has the ability to change her
shape to that of one of three animals. A large cat, a large snake or a
large bird of prey. (auto)
2. Isis Mirror: Also has the ability to take on the form of another
person. This requires quite a bit of time and considerable concentration
on her part. Not only does she take on their form but also the tone of
their voice, but also this cannot be done just off the mark. She must have
tasted their blood first or have a sample of it and several hours of
meditation and preparation. (roll of 400 in a ritual no roll under 12
counts) Spell lasts one Real Day
Vampiric Strength:
1.All vampires have a strength from the time they are embraced, which
grows with their age. But it must also be taken into consideration that if
one does not practice with their strength as well as their abilities then
those gifts will become weaker.
Claws of Bastet:
1. 9inch claws extend from the fingers, as sharp as blades. They can slice
through skin like silk, cutting down anything that stands in the way
causing major damage to those it inflicts upon. (roll of 12 to ignite,
does 1.5 normal damage must out roll target )
Innocent Eyes:
1. Nefertiti's Blush: A blood ability that can be called upon to enhance
ones beauty to be used as either weapon or defense. Gives the user the
ability to look years younger than they actually are and innocent of all
sins in the eyes of the viewer. Can be called upon with little effort if
all is required is to gain the attention of another. It can only be
focused one person at a time. ( roll of 10 to ignite, must out roll target
if they resist to see true self)
2. Serpent's Stare: Like a snake staring its victim in the eye and holding
them in their power, the person under the control of Innocent Eyes would
be unable to move from the position they are in unless their willpower is
stronger than that of the one holding them there. (out roll target)
3. Mistress' Will: Concentrating harder and holding the eye of another
this person can be held for an extended period of time under her control.
First though she must have a taste or sample of the victims blood. Her
voice becoming a husky murmur she can ply them with suggestions where they
are willing to do anything she asks of them. If they struggle with the
suggestions and feel uncomfortable it takes considerable effort on her
part to continue to hold them, draining strength and energy. ( must do a
ritual of 200 and then out roll target if target is uncomfortable you must
out roll them by double. If Target is OC against this like sex etc. can
not be forced to do.)
Shadow-weave:
1. Shadow's Within: Can blend in with shadows as a form of protection.
Disappearing from sight completely. At this level should moonlight or
"pure light" shine on the shadows in use the vampire will be
revealed. (auto, can be sensed by others that have that ability)
2. Silent Tomb: Concentrating on her blood she can manipulate shadows
around the body, moving free of will and masking all sound of movement.
Can still be heard if needs be. Needs to call on the strength of will as
well to bring this ability forward for use. (auto)
Phantom murmur:
1. Inner Voice: The ability to be standing at a distance
away from another and giving the impression that she is standing next to
them and whispering in their ear. (roll of 15)
2. Forever Falling: Her voice can travel around the victim swiftly causing
a sense of confusion and lack of balance. Throwing the person off, causing
sever disorientation. Can also place ideas and illusions into the mind of
the victim through the sound of her voice as it travels swiftly around the
person. Needs a short amount of time to focus in on the victim and their
thoughts before this can be performed. (must roll a 16 to ignite and out
roll target)
3. Mummy's Touch: Gives a freezing cold sensation down the spine of the
victim she is concentrating on. Causing the skin to shiver and teeth to
rattle, also placing a sense of sheer terror and fear within the victim.
Takes a lot of strength of will and effort, draining on her strength as
she calls upon her blood to bring this ability forward. (roll of 20 to
ignite target must out roll you by 5 to stop it)
Frenzy of the Beast:
1. Blood Feast: Can manipulate another to go into an insane state of
madness, most effective on those that have not recently fed or are in a
highly emotional state at the time. Concentrating on her blood to perform
this ability and placing thoughts in another's mind of a tragic situation
that never actually took place. Turning their pain into rage,
therefore
evoking them into a mental state where anything and anyone around them may
in turn become their victim. Friend or foe alike. Needs a certain
amount of time and some preparation for this to be performed. Meditation
on the victim at hand. (ritual of 1000 no roll under 15 counts, must
out roll target when casting final effect, last 2 real days)
2. Burning Blood: Can give a person the sensation that their blood is
actually on fire and burning them from the inside out. A lot of energy
needs to go into this ability for it also gives the victim the illusion
that their skin is melting in places. Intense concentration and a sample
of the victims blood is needed as well as previously performing a ritual
and making a
sacrifice to her goddess Sekhmet. (must roll 300 to ritual must out roll
target with each step)
Siren's Song:
1. Melody of Old: Has the ability like that of the legendary mermaid's
voice. Singing a melody that can capture any and all that hear it. Can be
used to calm a person. (out roll resistant person by 15 willing auto)
2. Hymn to the Nile: Using a good deal of energy and will, the melody sung
is used to lull the victim into a state of hypnosis. The sound of her
voice entrancing her victim for a time and being able to manipulate that
victim into doing her will. Must remain in line of vision of her victim
and can only be used on one person at a time. (must out roll target by
double)
Weakness:
Direct sunlight, stakes through the heart, beheading, fears being unable
to
hold her own.
