Bastian Delanoe

Appearance: 6 foot 2 inches, blue eyes and “shortish” blonde hair.

History:
Bastian was born 28 years ago, the child of Julian Delanoe and Jessie Smith. His early childhood was normal enough. Due to a debilitating disease as a child he never was able to play sports, so he spent most of his time reading. At age 7, he was able to fully comprehend all articles in the New York Times. At age 13 he had already taken enough tests so that the governor of his state would allow him to take the SATs. He was accepted to a small Midwestern college at the age of 16 where he began to study TESOL, which meant Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. At the age of 19 he received his first BA degree. The day he received his degree he walked back to the registrar’s office and re-enrolled in the university’s teacher education program. Four years later at the age of 23 he received his second bachelor’s degree in adolescent psychology. He spent the next 5 years traveling through the world… During his travels, he had adopted some pets, his Siberian tiger cub Cervantes and his golden Labrador Colette. 
Growing up as what most people of the times called a “genetic reject”. Bastian became aware that he always had a special connection with animals. Even as a child, birds and beasts would come visit him in the barn of his parent’s house. So coincidentally he had always had a strong connection with all manner of animals… 
One day he felt that his presence in his home town was nothing more than a burden… So after designing and building a boat for himself and his animal friends, he set sail into the unknown. After waking up on the island, he has not felt the separation anxiety that most mortals feel. Instead he smiles and moves forward in this land, this land that doesn’t look upon him with pity or disgust… He moves forward in this land that he now proudly calls, “home”
